I'm really curious—I've heard that babies born naturally have a much stronger immune system compared to those born via C-section. Have you heard about this? Have you ever considered a natural birth?
Hi, this is an extremely insensitive comment. My c-sections were not by choice, but were the best option due to complex medical circumstances, and I am grateful for medical advancements that ensured my babies were delivered safely.
While research may suggest some sort of marginal correlation between a baby's immune system and a vaginal birth, research also suggests that maternal and fetal mortality rates have vastly lowered as medical advancements have improved and allowed for c-sections to occur where needed.
My third birth was my most beautiful one too 🥰 pushed for 3 hours with my first and he was born at 9lb5oz and my body was sooooo sore for days after. I couldn’t even lift my baby 🥺 pushed for an hour with my second and he was 9lbs15oz and then with my 3rd pushed for only 10 minutes and he was 9lbs3oz. I swear I feel like the third birth is such a beautiful do-over moment to reclaim a bit of the narrative
Your self-awareness about timing and readiness is refreshing - especially how you honored your own pace between children rather than following any preset timeline. I love how you describe the evolution from feeling overwhelmed with two to reaching a place where it feels right to welcome a third! xx
Thanks for sharing, Samantha. I'm one month in to being a first time mom and loving every minute of it. With that said, most of my anxiety stems from a fear of postpartum hair loss. I noticed that you posted a while back about your expirence with nutrafol. I started it immediately after giving birth and would love to learn more about your experience in a future post. Best, Lauren
So excited for you! 💞 and love your plan about taking back the narrative for the delivery 👌🏻

Love. Do you also have a midwife and doula?
